I class oil separators
Class I oil separators are used in parking lots, roads, industrial plants, gas stations, car washes, repair shops, storage sites and many other places. Oil traps are designed to release rainwater and industrial wastewater into sewers or nature.
According to European Standard EN 858, class I oil traps must ensure a hydrocarbon content of less than 5 mg / l in the wastewater. Class I oil traps are equipped with coalescers that promote the merger of oil particles, which accelerates the removal of these particles from the water. European Standard EN 858 has also established that the treatment of oily wastewater must start with settling particles heavier than water in a sand-mud trap, which is installed in front of the oil trap or built into its housing.
Oil traps are fitted with a control device which gives visual and audible signals, when the layer of oil inside the trap reaches the maximum allowed level.
Our oil traps are made of glass reinforced plastic (GRP), which gives them a strong structure and resistance to rusting. Klaasplast OÜ oil traps are CE-certified and fire resistance tested.
